Zebra mom and her foal (The Snuggler)
Melinda enjoyed painting the zebras, but faced several challenges while painting it. Most came from the effects of the T.B.I. Two of the problems were double vision and how the lines seemed as though they were moving. The double vision normally is corrected by glasses, but looking at lines to long still causes her to see double.
The combination of the double vision and the optical illusion of the lines moving caused her to spend over a half hour on just attempting to finish the back end of the mom's hip, She almost gave up on the entire painting, but she prayed and carried onward.
Melinda was asked to have her zebra painting done in a pink background. She was pleasantly surprised about how it turned out. How about you?
