Do you live in an area where the seasons change? What does your spring look like? South Bend Indiana's spring looks like the cross between fall and winter. Thankfully plants are starting to pop up out of this hard fall and winter like ground. Before long there will be colorful plants and beautiful green leaves. What kind of season are you having in your life? How about in your art and writing? Right now I am in a spring season. A lot has happened and everything I believe God wants me to do is under a ground similar to the photos shown in this blog. The winter ground developed because of several reasons. One reason was that I use to work on my art and writing in between 12:00 am-2:00 am, but am now working third shift. Third shift is great for me, but it has been hard to learn how to juggle sleeping, housework, my personal life, and my art and writing times. This juggling mixed with the other reasons began to harden my summer soil of productivity. I started getting discouraged. Then I prayed. God showed me certain Bible verses that I needed to apply. I took those 'Bible verses to heart and kept my faith and determination. I finally started to see some of the goals popping up telling me that my personal spring is here. Then another challenge mixed with an unexpected real snow started tramping down the progress. I started thinking about that daffodil which will someday be a beautiful yellow flower and all the green grass and other plants attempting to pop out of the ground. They are not giving up. Instead of giving up they look towards the sun and wait for their bloom time. I started thinking that I must continue to look towards Jesus the Son of God or my dreams will freeze. Mentioning freeze, sometimes man must lift a hand and help keep plants like fruit trees from freezing. With that in mind, people including me sometimes need help during our winter and dry times. So never be afraid to ask for prayer or help. I am praying for you and the other readers of this blog... I will be giving away a magnet to anyone that gives me some kind of input on this blog post. The magnet will have my art on it and will be autographed. Thank you.
